Hedwig and the Angry Inch follows Hedwig, a genderqueer rock singer from East Berlin, on a turbulent journey of self-discovery and revenge with her band, The Angry Inch. The musical combines raw rock music with personal monologues to explore love, loss and identity. This Hong Kong production, directed by Ivanhoe Lam, features Jordan Cheng, winner of the 2023 Hong Kong Theatre Award for Best Actor, as Hedwig. 專訪《Living Up/噏to Death》編舞及導演林俊浩Ivanhoe：「在說死亡時， 不如我們先說活着。」 Ivanhoe說，想為挫折而感困惑和無助的我們，能通過《Living Up/噏 to Death》再次站起，望觀眾完成觀賞後，會對分離以至死亡有不一樣的體會。為何Ivanhoe想要大家再次觀照自己，嘗試改變對死亡的看法？正因他經歷着，也經驗過，「如我媽媽走了，我會感覺到，由她給予的愛，其實隨後會有其他人去承接，即她離開了之後，突然間，生命裡面突然出現了某個能給予同等的愛予我，而這個轉變，也必定是由她離開那刻才會遇上。或者說這個轉變會令其他人影響更大，就例如這些愛會轉化成更大的力量。」他更指，若沒有這幾年面對「死亡」的經歷，這個劇場也沒可能誕生。 Source: https://www.elle.com.hk/life/death-interview-ivanhoe-ccdc
